GALERIES DES GLACES / MIRROR INSTALLATION / GALERIES LAFAYETTE / 2013
-
GALERIES DES GLACES is a installation created for the Galeries Lafayettes in Toulon.
These big mirrors from one to three meters tall are thought to fit the grand entrance stairs of the departement store.

The frames of the mirrors are made in PVC cover, a material usually used in the nautical industry or to cover the truck trailers.
Dressed with this coated fabric the mirrors look like some surprising yachting equipments and pay tribute to the navy tradition of the city of Toulon.
